A. Regime-held Territory
Dara: The people of Dara issued a statement in which they asked for opening a humanitarian corridor for the besieged families in the city towards Jordan. The statement asked the help of the Jordanian government to protect civilians from a potential Iranian massacre against them.
Raqqa: Two shepherds were killed and their cattle were stolen by unidentified armed men in Rasafa area in the west of Raqqa. Opposition media sources usually accuse Iranian militias -which are active in that area- with such incidents.
B. HTS-held Northwest Syria (Idlib, Western Hama, Northern Latakia, western Aleppo)
Regime forces fired heavy artillery on rebel-held villages in the west and south of Idlib. One child was reported wounded.
C. Turkish Influence Territory (Afrin, Azaz, Al Bab, Jarablus, Tal Abyad, Ras Al Ayn)
SDF shelled the city of Al Bab in northern Aleppo on Thursday night. The shelling targeted residential areas and left 23 civilians wounded.
D. SDF-held Northeast Syria (Most of Raqqa and Hasaka, part of Deir Ezzor, parts of Aleppo: Manbij, Ayn Al Arab\Kobani, Tal Rifa’at.)
Two SDF elements were killed in a landmine explosion in the Tal Al Shayer area in rural Hasaka. No group claimed responsibility for the explosion, but opposition sources normally put the blame on ISIS sleeper cells in such attacks.
E. ISIS Update
The regime’s news agency SANA said that the “American occupation forces” moved 40 members of ISIS from one SDF prison in Hasaka city to an American base in the city of Al Shaddadi. SANA added that by this move, the American forces are preparing to “reuse” those ISIS members “in order to carry on the schemes of Washington in the region.”
