A. Regime-held Territory
Dara: Despite the Russian announcement that a ceasefire agreement was reached, regime forces fired heavy artillery on the besieged neighborhoods in Dara.
In the north of the province, rebel elements attacked the regime positions in the city of Al Sanamayn. Another attack took place in the city of Jasem in the same area.
Sweda: Angry protestors broke into the regime’s water services management building in the city of Sweda. Drinking water has been cut off on some neighborhoods in the city for over a month. The protestors were also complaining of the deteriorating services in their city in general.
B. HTS-held Northwest Syria (Idlib, Western Hama, Northern Latakia, western Aleppo)
Aleppo: Regime forces fired heavy artillery on the village of Kafr Ta’al in the west of Aleppo. A woman and her five years old son were severely wounded.
C. Turkish Influence Territory (Afrin, Azaz, Al Bab, Jarablus, Tal Abyad, Ras Al Ayn)
The Turkish-supported SNA said they aborted a sneak attempt conducted by SDF towards their control areas in Ras Al Ayn, near the village of Al Dardara. Turkish forces responded by shelling SDF positions in Abu Rasayn area in the north of Hasaka.
D. SDF-held Northeast Syria (Most of Raqqa and Hasaka, part of Deir Ezzor, parts of Aleppo: Manbij, Ayn Al Arab\Kobani, Tal Rifa’at.)
Deir Ezzor: SDF arrested Muhammad Shihada, a media activist from the village of Al Sha’afa in the east of Deir Ezzor. There was no comment by SDF on the incident.
E. ISIS Update
American forces conducted an air born operation during which they arrested a man from his home in the village of Mhemida in the west of Deir Ezzor. The commandos unit that arrested the man had destroyed his home before it left.
