A. Regime-held Territory
Damascus: An IED explosion hit near the municipality building in the city of Sa’asa’a in the west of Damascus. Elements from military intelligence raided the city afterwards and checked the residents’ houses. No group claimed responsibility for the explosion.
Dara: Regime forces shelled besieged neighborhoods in Dara Al Balad with tank shells and heavy machine guns. No casualties were reported.
Hama: Unidentified elements targeted a regime military vehicle with an IED explosion in the Al Mazareb neighborhood in the east of Hama city. An unspecified number of the regime elements were reported wounded.
B. HTS-held Northwest Syria (Idlib, Western Hama, Northern Latakia, western Aleppo)
Idlib: Rebel forces operating in the Al Fateh Al Mubin operation room said they aborted a sneak attack for the regime forces towards their control areas in southern Idlib. The rebels said they targeted the regime forces with mortars and killed or wounded an unspecified number of them.
The regime forces responded by shelling the villages of Mashoun and Al Rami in Jabal Al Zawya. One civilian was killed and an unspecified number of other civilians were wounded, some of them were badly wounded.
C. Turkish Influence Territory (Afrin, Azaz, Al Bab, Jarablus, Tal Abyad, Ras Al Ayn)
The Turkey-supported SNA launched an attack on SDF-held villages in Tal Tamr area in the north of Hasaka. The Turkish army shelled SDF positions in the area in support for SNA. One woman was wounded in the village of Tal Shnan because of the Turkish shelling. SNA achieved no progress and was faced with heavy resistance from SDF.
D. ISIS Update
A former member in ISIS was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in his village Jarat Buhamida in the west of Deir Ezzor. The man died on the spot and the gunman ran away on a motorcycle.
