A. Regime-held Territory
Dara: A regime checkpoint between the towns of Msefra and Jiza in the west of Dara opened fire on youths from the area on Thursday/Friday night. Four youths were killed in the shooting and two more disappeared.
Regime forces fired 30 rockets on the city of Tafas in Dara. The shelling left two civilians killed and six wounded. The regime’s news agency SANA said one regime element was killed and eight were wounded when their bus was targeted in the west of Dara.
B. HTS-held Northwest Syria (Idlib, Western Hama, Northern Latakia, western Aleppo)
Idlib: HTS arrested two commanders from the Sham Legion, the military wing of the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood. The two commanders were arrested from their homes in the city of Kafr Takharim in the west of Idlib. Tension was reported in the city after the arrest of the two commanders.
C. Turkish Influence Territory (Afrin, Azaz, Al Bab, Jarablus, Tal Abyad, Ras Al Ayn)
Al Bab: A group of 79 people reached the city coming from Dara after reaching an agreement with the regime forces. The new group of Dara citizens was hosted temporarily in the Al Bara’a mosque in the city.
D. SDF-held Northeast Syria (Most of Raqqa and Hasaka, part of Deir Ezzor, parts of Aleppo: Manbij, Ayn Al Arab\Kobani, Tal Rifa’at.)
SDF brought military reinforcements to the city of Ayn Issa in the north of Raqqa. The step comes after a long night during which the area came under heavy artillery shelling from the SNA factions. Opposition media outlets are reporting escalating military tensions between SNA and SDF at the frontlines in the north of Raqqa and Hasaka areas.
E. ISIS Update
The international coalition forces conducted an air born operation during which they arrested several people who are supposedly sleeper cells for ISIS.
